Module 3 At the weekend

Unit 1 We couldn’t go shopping.

 教學過程:

一: Warmg-up

Listen and say the rap: I’m a little black bat.

Read the shopping list they had written for their mother and say the reasons.

Review the words from Monday to Sunday, ask and answer in groups:   What do you usually do at the weekend?

二: Task-setting and the text lead in:

T: Teacher says the following sentences with a photo of her own: When I was a baby I could cry. I could smile. But I couldn’t walk. I couldn’t run. I was very happy then. Now I can walk. I can run, and I can talk because I’ve grown up.教師借助表情,動作讓學生理解could和couldn’t .讓學生想一想它們是哪兩個詞的過去式.教師將can和can’t寫在黑板上.然后再相對應地寫出could和couldn’t.告訴學生今天我們將要學習如何談論過去能做或不能做的事情及其原因. 

三:  Learn the text:

     1. Learn the new words:

Learn the new words: Science Museum, camera, night, and sky by using the words cards.

教師給學生看自己排得很滿的工作日程,說I’m busy.再結(jié)合圖片使學生理解并學會使用busy;

教師給學生看鳥在空中飛的圖片,并通過飛的動作讓學生知道fly 的意思,并問學生:What can fly? 學生舉例來說:A bird can fly. The plane can fly.

告訴學生 Really是表示驚訝,興奮或不相信時用的.教師請學生用can或could來說自己過去或現(xiàn)在的特長,并在學生說后問really?練習至學生能用really.

教師在黑板上寫then和now,并對比教學以下單詞: Came (come), forgot (forget), took (take)并舉例練習至學生能熟練掌握以上動詞.

2:SB 活動1:   (1) T:教師說出Amy一家周末能做和不能做的活動.教師先讓學生看一些寫有不同活動的紙條.這些活動是: Play with the friends. Do the shopping on the computer. Go to the Science Museum. Play on the computers. Fly planes. See the night sky. Play in the park. Go shopping. Take some photos.然后由學生將這些活動按錄音對話進行總結(jié),說明哪些活動是Amy一家周末能夠進行的活動,哪些是沒法進行的活動.請學生在總結(jié)后說明原因.原因如下:

(2) Let class listen and read after the tape. Let them pay attention to the sentence stress, pause, and rhythm.

3:SB活動2:

教師將與書本相配套的掛圖貼到黑板上:按順序手指書上的五幅圖,每指一幅圖就讓兩名同學來分角色朗讀.

Let them practice in pairs. One acts Daming, the other acts Amy.

Act it out in class.

4: SB活動3

Let class point and say each picture.

Let class according to the dialogue and practice in pairs.

Check the answers:

They couldn’t go to the park.

They could play with friends.

They couldn’t go shopping.

They could go to the Science Museum.

They could play on computers.

They could see the night sky.

They could fly planes.

四:Fulfill the task:

1:教師給學生看一幅圖:房間的地面上有一攤水.教師提問:Why was there some water on the floor? 讓學生去猜測,分析,討論原因.

2:學生在討論之后說出自己猜測和分析得出的結(jié)論.

3:教師給出參考答案.一個房間的窗戶開著,窗外下起了雨,雨越來越大,有一些雨點被風吹進窗戶,地面上漸漸積了水.

五:Assignment of homework

(必做) Listen and repeat M3 Unit 1 3 times; Imitate the sentences’ stress, pause, and rhythm.
